Description
In this solution, we use parameter tables to allow the user to control key aspects of a currency conversion dashboard.
The dashboard allows the user to track the conversion rate from any one currency to another in a basket of 15 currencies, and to compare the current rate, as indicated by the date axis of the line chart to the same conversion in a different time frame.
However, instead of having a static offset timeframe, such as the previous year, the user is able to select any offset timeframe, either in the past or in the future, relative to the current date, working in years, quarters, months or days.
The solution uses DAX to create a dynamic titles. So, as users interact with the report, they are given instant feedback as to what they are currently looking at.
